Dermal Fillers

Samano Aesthetics located in Winter Park, Florida offers injectable dermal fillers such as, Restylane®, Restylane® Silk, Restylane® Lyft and Sculptra. Dermal fillers can be used for everything from lip augmentation, scar removal, filling hollows under the eyes, wrinkle treatment, volumizing cheeks and facial contouring. Complimentary Consultations are given to all patients interested in dermal fillers. All injections are given by Dr. Samano himself in the comfort of our medical office located in Winter Park, Florida.

Restylane®

Restylane® is a dermal filler used to add facial volume and restore the fullness that is lost as we get older. Restylane® is typically used to reduce wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth. Dr. Samano II specializes in using Restylane® to fill the tear trough, which eliminates under eye wrinkles, puffiness or atrophy. The results are immediate with little to no downtime. Restylane® wrinkle reduction can last for up to 12 months following treatment, even longer if injected under the eye!

Restylane® Silk

Restylane® Silk is the first and only FDA-approved treatment to specifically address lip definition and line control for silkier, smoother, natural-looking lips. As we age, lips change and the lines around them become more noticeable. Restylane® Silk is unique in its silky smooth formulation of hyaluronic acid that allows for both subtle enhancement of the lips and treating the fine vertical lines around the lips.

After treatment, swelling may be more likely in patients under 36 years of age and bruising may be more likely in patients over 35 years. In general, any swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising would typically be mild in severity and should last less than 5 days.

Restylane® Lyft

Restylane® Refyne

As skin loses elasticity with age, the lines that run from the sides of your nose toward the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds) and the lines that run from the corner of your mouth toward the chin (marionette lines) appear more noticeable. Restylane® Refyne is a specifically formulated hyaluronic acid dermal filler made with XpresHAn Technology™ that helps correct these lines for a more natural look to your face. The unique cross-linking of the gel in Restylane® Refyne is also designed to help support your natural expression—for real-life results that help maintain natural movement when you’re smiling, frowning and even puckering up.

Restylane® Defyne

Sculptra®

Would you like to rejuvenate your face, lift your cheeks and take 5-10 years off your appearance without a face-lift, but with the same long-lasting results? Sculptra® is a dermal filler recommended for patients who have lost a significant amount of facial volume. The results appear gradually, so you won’t see them as you walk out the door, but they will last for years! Most patients need between two and four sessions to achieve the best results. The sessions are scheduled every six weeks. In the next few months, you will start to see wonderful and long-lasting results! Many people experience results lasting for up to five years.

Post-Filler Care

• Expect treated areas to be red, slightly swollen and bruised for up to 2 weeks.
• Apply cool compress to the areas treated (avoid pressure) as this helps reduce swelling and the potential for bruising.
• Take acetaminophen (e.g. Tylenol) if you experience any mild tenderness or discomfort.
• Massage the treatment areas ONLY if instructed to do so. For example, for Sculptra, follow the 5-5-5 rule: Massage 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days.
• AVOID strenuous exercise or activity for the remainder of the treatment day. Other normal activities and routines can resume immediately.
• AVOID hot showers or saunas for 6 hours after treatment as they can worsen bruising.
• Continue applying Auriderm gel 2-4 times daily and/or taking Arnica supplements as this may help alleviate bruising.
• AVOID above-mentioned medications for 1 week.
• Wait a minimum of 2 weeks before receiving any facial or massage treatments.
• Bruising may be covered up with make-up.
